Christmas is Just Around the Corner
As a child, I measured the year from Christmas to Christmas.
And some of those years seemed Much. Too. Long.
I must admit that the Christmas calculation creeps into my way of thinking even now. Yes, I know the year doesn’t technically end until December 31st. Yet, Christmas is so close to that end-of-year technicality that I’ll probably keep on thinking of it that way.
Even though, nowadays, the year is Much. Too. Short.
It’s a Wrap!
Whether gifts are wrapped, bagged, or presented in the form of small plastic cards, there is still that point in time when the deed is done.
This Too is a Wrap!
Perhaps the same can be said for the events and activities of the Christmas season. From gift buying to parties to events, and entertainments, from gift wrapping (or bagging) to traditional meals, and travel through neighborhood lighting delights, there comes a time when it is all completed for yet another year.
Let’s Wrap it Up
And, of course, the completion of another year is “in the books” in the construction industry. (Or at least very close.)
Now is an excellent time to ponder, look back, and consider how this year has gone. What has been achieved, what objectives did you crush, which marks weren’t met, and how can you improve?
