Why are there so many jokes about inflation these days?

Because demand has increased following a period of low interest.


How high is the price of lumber?

So high that the Feds confiscated a load of 2×4s buried in kilos of cocaine.


What is the problem with Inflation Jokes?

Unfortunately, the joke decreases in funniness over time.

The Construction Financial Management Association website contains a recent article by Thomas C. Schleifer, Ph.D. In the article titled 2022 Construction Inflation Alert, he says, “It is time to look inflation square in the face before we speculate on what we can do about it.”


Then he goes on to offer some eye-opening information concerning where the construction industry stands today in the midst of hyperinflation. He finishes with his view on what it will take to prevent losses in 2022. It is well worth your time to read this short article. Check it out.
