Who Leslie Is
Leslie King, our Quality Assurance Manager, lives in Palm Coast, Florida, where she takes advantage of her proximity to the ocean. She says, “I spend every available moment at the beach, boating, kayaking, snorkeling, or walking the beach collecting seashells.”
Besides having two grown children, she calls her best friends (a son who is a paramedic and a daughter who is a photographer) she has a couple more “kids” who reside at home: her cats, 30-pound “big boy” Shadow, and her little 6-pound girl, Penny Pineapple.
When asked what she likes most about working at The Profit Constructors, she replied, “What I love about my job is collaborating with such an amazing team of construction accounting professionals and co-firming partners. We all share our ideas and combine our own individual skills, knowledge, and experience to form a powerful team to serve our construction clients in ways that none of us could do individually.”
Leslie has been a part of the construction industry for over 30 years. Her knowledge and insights concerning what clients of The Profit Constructors need are bolstered by the fact that she owned a custom-home design/build company for over fifteen years. She says, “Being a former construction business owner gives me a unique insight into our client’s everyday challenges and accounting needs.”

In her role as the Quality Assurance Manager, Leslie:

Leslie is responsible for ensuring that quality goals are met. She reports directly to Tonya Schulte, owner of The Profit Constructors. She is also responsive to the needs of the bookkeeping staff, works with our co-firming partners, and is available to meet with clients. Her upbeat attitude and helpful demeanor have been noted by many. Her choices and actions directly impact the ability of the team to achieve company goals regarding timeliness, compatibility, and (of course) quality.
Leslie’s Favorites
When asked about some of her favorites, Leslie replied, “I enjoy local beachside cafes. I gotta have my Shrimp and Grits! I love Motown music, museums, art galleries, and I’m a Chocaholic.”
