Networking Ain’t What it Used to Be!

Networking rocks
Networking ain’t what it used to be. It is much better now!
There are more opportunities, fewer barriers, and little to no drawbacks.
If you still think of networking as the obligatory giving and receiving of tossable business cards or attendance at the unavoidable and tedious annual shindig, then it’s possible you’re missing the point.
Worse yet, if you think of networking as selling, then you are in for a rude awakening. We all know that guy or gal. Don’t be him or her.
OK, I’ll give you this – some people are better at networking than others – if you’ll give me this – almost everyone networks naturally. Whether through work, a hobby, or a common interest, people are drawn to one another.
In a word, networking is part and parcel of relationship. And relationship is what makes the world (and business) go round.
With that in mind, I thought I would share the breakdown of the networking scene here at The Profit Constructors.
Where we network:
Online
Over the phone
In-person
Through direct messaging
How we network:

At fun or fund-raising events
Through volunteering
Who we network with:

Why we network:
Helps develop our skill sets
